I read 1st Nephi 12 tonight and I can't help but feel sad for Nephi. I think about seeing my future generations turn into a "dark, and loathesome, and a filthy people" What joy he must have felt seeing many of his generation come and go believing and being good people but to see someone in your family fall away is so hard. We have had our fair share of that in our family.... and it wasn't wasy seeing it happen. Thankfully they have come back to the Gospel, and even if they haven't come back to the Gospel they have turned their life aroung for the better. But, I feel sad for him. That would not be an easy thing to see....
