Wow...this brings back so many memories of the mission!! I love this chapter and I it's amazing to me all the prophesies that the Lord was manifesting to Nephi. I always wonder what Joseph smith must have been thinking the first time he heard this chapter, obviously during his translating the book of mormon. Could you imagine reading about yourself and your mission in sacred plates from the prophets of old. Could you imagine being compared to moses and being told of your great mission. What a life changing time this must have been for Joseph. Although he already had many of these moments as the Lord himself declared the prophetic mission to the young boy Joseph. I also love how the chapter describes weaknesses and yet....still his mighty strength. Although Joseph would not be "strong at speaking" he would still be one of the most important prophets of all time. love it!!!!
....out of weakness he shall be made strong..." Its interesting to know tha through our trials we can be strengthened in many ways we wouldn't have otherwise.
Amen Carolina. I sure need all the help I can get. I know that he's always there for me when I feel weak. He makes me soooo much more than I could ever hope to be on my own!
