The thing that stuck out most to me
in this chapter was verse 22
"...according to the combinations of the
devil, for he is the founder of all these things;
yea, the founder of murder, and the works
of darkness; yea, and he leadeth them by the
neck with a flaxen cord, until he bindeth them
with his strond cords forever."

that if he came right out and asked us to do
some big huge sin like adultry.... we would say
NO WAY!!! But, Satan is to smart for that!!
He knows we would say no, so he throws little
things at us, like a fight with our spouse. Not a
big deal, everyone goes through that right?
Spending a lot of time away from home, people
have to work right? Not reading scriptures as a
family, we get busy!! A friendly co-worker of
the opposite sex, totally normal!! Lunch with
that co-worker, it's just business. Telling this friend
about problems in your marriage, you need
someone to talk to right? But, all of these things
although they may not seem so badbad on their
own, they are a recipe for disater. Satan's recipe
to make us more comfortable in situations
that we should not be in, until...
It's to late, we have no
control anymore, he has power over us
he tricks us into doing his will. Little by little !!
We need to be very careful of the choices we make.
Although they may seem small and insignificant at the
time, they lead to decisions that would take us
further away from our Heavenly Father.
We need to be strong!!!
